Dear Monica, I am very happy to meet the fabulous artist you are and wich I can see the delicate creations in the beautiful Ingeborg's book (it's a wonderful lady who has contributed significantly to the development of miniature in France). Your creations are marvels of delicacy and precision, they are perfection.

Your comment about my new house (La Villa des Roses) touched me deeply, and what you say is so true, the world around us could stop when we begin to create ...

I'm really glad you found the way to my blog and welcome you to track the progress of work every day.

Léa (from Paris) <3

Léa ... I can't believe I failed to recognise you're name as the author of that incredibly wonderful book ... perhaps I was thinking Christine instead of Léa. I've been one of your most ardent admirers for quite sometime! You have a wonderful way with your designs and decor ... a charming style all your own ... so very unique and yet ever so heartwarmingly French. I'll be following your blog with both eyes wide open, and fixed delightfully on what your up to next, so that you can inspire me to get to work again ... and, what a lovely compliment you've given me on my work. I'm very honoured to say the least.

Oh Ingeborg ... how I truly miss her! Not only is she a marvelous miniaturist/collector (and the inspiration we have to thank for artists like you) she is, at her finest, an incredible human being and friend. I must write to her, and apologise for being so remiss in my correspondence (I was caring for my father for several years). If you see her, please tell her I think of her often.

If you're so inclined please send your email address, so I don't make a book out of the comment box here like I can sometimes do ... and I too am so happy to have discovered you again!

Dear Monica, thank you very much for responding, and I am very happy to know that you have my book and I hope you will make new creations.
I do not know when I'll see Ingeborg, but you can be sure I will convey your thoughts to her.

Hugs, Lea <3
